It is up to you and your research among customers to see who already upgraded. But do not count on me :-). I am going back to my legally owned Tiger even Leopard is nice. You have usually quite different point of view in US that in other countries where people are not hunting every new technology available.
And if I am not willing to spend on Leopard so I may not on Flow either. ;-)

Seriously guys, cut it out. Flow is as great as it is *because it's using leopard technologies*. If it ran on tiger, it wouldn't be as great.

If you want to be using the most innovative software available, then you need to have the latest development tools installed on your system. Right now that means you have to be running leopard.

I am a Tiger user and I am already missing out on many new apps that only run on Leopard. My system is perfectly tuned for my likings after these years and I am not going to touch that unopened Leopard disc sitting in the drawer until I absolutely have to. Not to mention all the *nix apps I have to spend time migrating and updating/fixing just so I can enjoy Leopard's... uh... new benefits?

If Flow only runs on 10.5, it will be too bad for me and another nice app I have to miss out, but I guess that's the way Apple's OS works.

Being an old time Mac user I rarely rush out and buy the newest operating system since it's usually pretty buggy I wait on till they have time to work out the bugs. Also given that Macs are very reliable machines I do like to keep them around for awhile and get a bit sentimental about retire them. And through time I have found that when it's running well why %@#& with it. Given that the whole Mac community and there are a lot of people like me, why give up on us yet that would be leaving a large amount of people out in the cold, if you don't believe me go to Craig's List and see how long the old Macs that go up for sale stick around!

I look forward to seeing the initial release of Flow, it's just going to be such a great app on it's release considering some of the betas already out there. Unfortunately I won't be in the crowd using it, at least not for a long time due to fund constraints and my Mac dying, again.

Well done and best of luck for the future. :)

I realise this is a bit late but I'd say Tiger and Leopard since I'm running both; upgrading to Leopard may well take me a long time and might not be worth it. There are a lot of things I don't like about the look of Leopard.

I also agree with the comment that beta testers tend to be early adopters and the key stat is that only 20% of Mac users have upgraded so far. That is your target market and it's pretty small right now.

Speaking from a end-user point of view, I am sure that Flow would be useful either for Tiger or Leopard. I’m a graphic designer myself working on tiger, as others posted already, too busy to do the upgrade to Leopard.
For me and others in the same situation, Flow for Tiger would be a great gift. If Flow will follow open source path, I will consider a donation for development, as I proceed usually when I am using open source apps.

Looking forward to test it, never had the chance to try it.

Best,
Alex
